I was surprised that a Conquest donated to VOA is running, although they have a fairly low bar for "runs and moves" so it may not run well.
In reply to Patrick :
The auction is this saturday (12/9), in-person only. I'm less than a mile from it if anyone wants me to go inspect it on preview day (Thu/Fri).

Fixed that for ya.

What kind of turn out do these auctions usually bring?
Really I am just trying to guess at what this might sell at. Do you have any guesses?
I have done some salvage auctions which I like bc it is all online, and if you don't win the auction you don't have to load up the truck and trailer.

It can be hit or miss if it goes for cheap. I have bought a few vehicles there for well under market price but have also seen some bid well over what I would imagine.
One of the last ones I went to had a clean NA Miata with under 100k miles that listed it needed a clutch. I checked it out and it needed a clutch slave. I figured I would bid it up to a couple thousand for a quick flip but there were two other people there that really wanted it and it sold for $5800.
Basically I would go into it expecting to pay at or slightly under what it would list for on FB marketplace (without the option of a test drive to find out any possible problems) and possibly score a great deal if there wasn't someone else there specifically for it.
I still attend if there is something cool since I am so close but deals aren't as common as they were in the past.

I had another question. If you win the auction do you just take it home with you that day and get the title that day? Or how does that work.
In reply to Somebeach (Forum Supporter) :
You can take it home that day, you have to pay immediately (cash or card) and get it out of the auction lot. Titles usually take a week to process but they'll sell you a temp tag if needed. You can park it in the main voa thrift store lot for a couple days but they'll tow it if it's there past Monday or Tuesday.
I can store something at my house for a bit but don't have the funds right now to facilitate a remote purchase.

Thanks. I am still successfully taking myself out of another project car. But I could also change my mind in the next couple of days ha ha.
I stopped by the preview while running errands.
It was running when I got there (someone was already looking at it) and sounded decent. I took some additional pictures including a list taped to the window by the previous owner.
Overall it looks extremely clean, I couldn't get any clear pictures of the underneath but I couldn't see any rust at all - control arms, rockers etc were all spotless. I imagine it was stored inside and not driven in the winter. Tires had tread and looked decent but were dated 2013. I would guess it goes for $5000+ to someone who plans to fix a few things and list it for big money but I could be wrong.
