About 217 on the clock. Just had about 2k in brake work done. New batteries (ouch). Maryland truck now but was NY truck so, yeah, rust. I've got it looking good but you's want to do door bottoms, cab corners and box flares (all the usual SD stuff). Recent alternator and some other bits (can't remember). Interior updated to 2003 6 passenger seating including shelf under rear seat and updated cup holder. Manual locking hubs and alcoa wheels. Lots of meat on the tires. Set up for trailer brakes. Other stuff I'm sure.....
Must be free....no price listed
Funny man. I haven't come up with a price as this is a feeler.
KBB has it 9400 for fair and 10k for good. SO I'll start there.
FWIW I was thinking 8 to 9k.

Do you have any pics?
That is the configuration I want, and mine has 480K on the clock...
... But I really do abhor rust.
I'll try to get some pics. In can have the bottom soda blasted and coated. It's solid. Just the normal rusty areas common to the super duty trucks.
Forgot to mention that it has a color matching bed cap that's in really good shape. It's tan with a tan interior. Oh, and, since it usually needs model year 2000 parts, I'm guessing its a 99.5, so it has more Bhp, etc.

Normal rust??
You forget where I live. Nothing rusts here.
Mine is completely rust free.
So what's "normal" rust?
The very bottom of the doors rust as do the cab corners. The beds have a problem with the flares. Ford thought it would be smart to have foam between the inner and outer fenders. Unless you live in a dry place it will eventually rust there. If you live in a rust free place I'd swap the bed and doors with yours.

Forgot to mention that it has warn front hubs.

Too bad those spindles weren't done when you did the brake work.
$8-9 is feeling like a stretch to me.

Oh yeah- you are probably right.
That's better.
Yeah, Warn, not worn. If this were rust free, it would probably be a 13 to 15k truck. The 7.3 is almost an investment. They've slowly climbed in price over the last several years. People simply restore them before selling them. With the updated interior and electric brake, along with being a 99.5, it's a pretty good combo. I'm looking at some long bed f350s right now.

Jesus, KBB is being mighty generous with those miles on a CC truck. I wonder what ours would be worth if it were a CC instead of a regular cab with sub 80k miles.
200k on a 7.3 is broken in mileage. These easily do 500k. So far, by far, the best diesel ford has built. They have cult status. If you want to see crazy prices, look at 7.3 excursions.

7.3L excursions don't exist here anymore.....they've all migrated back to south texas/north mexico with 20+ people inside each.
And yes, I know the cult following, but damn.
Between a standard cab 2wd and a crew cab 4x4 there is a huge gap in prices.

Ours is a 99, standard cab, loaded lariat, 7.3L/AT, 4x4, the same warn lockouts, blk/tan, sub-80k and zero rust....we tried to sell it last year, but highest offer we got was $9k.....so we said berkeley it, made it the farm bitch, and retired the sub 50k mile 87 f150 to snowplow only duty.
I'm just intrigued at the massive pricing discrepancy with these.

I haven't looked in a while, but that is really good to hear. Not that I have any plans to EVER sell mine, but it is nice to know that I made at least one car buying decision that wasn't poorly advised.

The crew cab is used by all of the landscaping and construction guys, that's why they are so expensive, much less demand for the standard cab.
plus families like them. That are also relatively rate as the crew cab boom had just started. The super cab is much more common. And these are really big. Like limo big!
I've found a F-350 that I'm really interested in. I'll do my best to get pics up in the next day or 2. Between work and weather.....
