Up till a few years ago (that translates to 10 ta 30 in hillbilly talk) I saw 'em as work trucks pretty regular in the South East. Prolly not out there though.

Used to work with a guy who had a fugly green one, he used to pull his Fuchsia (pink) rail dragster with. It was a horrid sight. The pink dragster wasn't so bad but behind that truck on a rusty open trailer.

A guy at work bought a 1981 slant six 4 speed long box model at Gov't auction - $1,000.  Did everything but turn around.

The USAF really liked these back in the day (an on into the '80s)  I think they used them for ramp trucks and security police.  Explains why a lot of them are dark blue.
