Link implies it might be sold?
Had not seen the car, but that one picture has me drooling! Glorious!

Those are steel. Kurt hand fabricated them on an English wheel.
Car is not sold but there is a local (Sarasota) interested party. Kurt took the ad down as he was getting barraged with questions about the car. He is going to type up more details about the car and repost if it does not sell on Monday, when local guy is coming to see it.
I'll update when I know more.
I wouldn't be doing my job if I didn't jump in here and remind everybody to register for this year's $2000 Challenge. If you like stuff like this, you'll love the event itself.
April 6 and 7. Details here:
I just spoke to Kurt (the owner), and thought I'd follow up here a little bit....
First off, come on guys! Don't be overly reliant on FB. Kurt's a great guy, super easy to talk with, and his phone number is in the first post!
This isn't the car for me. But Kurt's a friend, and I am putting in a word for him.
The car is a monster. It's got an oversized turbo and undersized tires. It had a lot of trouble hooking up. Kurt made some modifications which may help, but have never been tested in the real world. It's NOT a street car, or a streetable car. It would not be easy to return to the street. Kurt had a huge number of responses very quickly to his FB ad but pulled the ad because he doesn't want to read about some yahoo buyer doing something stupid in his paper the next morning. He is very concerned about this. It's a RACE CAR that has NOT been dialed in or tuned well. It's been modified since it's appearance at the Challenge and still needs some work. Right now it's not running (but he may be able to get it running very soon). If you call him, he can explain all this.
It comes with a large parts stash, and MAY be able to be under budget (after recouping some parts, etc).
It probably needs 2 weeks worth of work to be able to make it to the Challenge, so if anyone is planning on bringing it, you'd need to buy it soon (because the Challenge is coming up).
Kurt is losing his storage. That's why he is selling.
Im out because I am looking for a car that can be returned to the streets.
But somebody please buy this car. It's a great build, and Kurt's an awesome guy who is super easy to talk to (and very straight about the details of the car).
Besides... I'm pretty sure it is the only car that has ever come to the Challenge with steel fenders hand formed on an English wheel... who wouldn't want to own it!
Updated Ad link.

Car is now running with new coil packs.
This is a whole lotta car for not a lot of money.
In reply to hobiercr :
Some day I will regret not jumping on this. But I just can't swing it right now.
