For sale is a 1988 Ferrari Testarossa. This well preserved and highly desirable car is in excellent condition both inside and out, runs and drives exceptionally well, and has no driveability issues.

One of the superstars of the ‘80s and beyond, the Ferrari Testarossa is the epitome of advanced engineering, aggressive styling, and performance to burn. Design chief, Leonardo Fioravanti of Pininfarina combined both form and function in designing the Ferrari Testarossa which leaped to the center stage of the automotive world in 1984 at the Paris Auto Show and remained there for 11 years as the world's fastest regular production car. It was the definition of 'supercar' in its era, the innovative benchmark against which all contemporary sports cars were measured. As the flagship Ferrari of its day, the performance on offer was truly impressive. A notable 380 horsepower launched the supercar to 60mph in just 5.3 seconds, and to a top speed of 180mph. In 1992 production of the Testarossa ceased after almost 7200 units were sold, making it one of the most popular Ferrari models ever.

This 23,964-mile car has been well cared for and maintained by the current owner of 12 years, and shows in original condition. Finished in the classic Rosso Corsa, traditional tan leather interior, single-bolt alloy wheels, and factory air conditioning. The car is powered by a naturally aspirated flat-12-cyl 4943cc 380 HP Bosch K-Jetronic FI engine, backed by a gated 5-speed manual transmission via a limited-slip differential, rack and pinion steering, and features four-wheel independent suspension with unequal-length wishbones, coil springs, and anti-roll bars. Ventilated disc brakes complete the mechanical package. At 23,951 miles, the car received an engine out service including timing belt, timing belt tensioners, valve cover gaskets and related seals, valve adjustment, balanced and adjusted throttle and emissions, replaced engine oil and filter, brake fluid flush and bleed, converted and serviced A/C refrigerant, replaced coolant, gear oil,receiver/drier, air filter, accessory belts, spark plugs, fuel filters, and performed a four wheel alignment.

This 12-cylinder icon presents an excellent opportunity to acquire a Ferrari that is an icon of the ‘80s, and has become an increasingly collectible automobile as the years pass on. The car is in the Seattle area, and has a clean title. Asking price is $98,500.

my absolute only experience with one of these is a metal model car someone gave me as a kid. I played with that so much though that I’m like, “oh that interior looks familiar”

good luck with the sale. It looks great, as you know :)

I have a garage full of county four plates... I have to think I would have seen this car at some point, living in Sweetwater County myself.

I take it the car is just licensed here? Or are you local to the area? Kinda a dream car since I was a kid...

Seems to be spam, no replies one way or the other after the initial "for-sale" post.
