I started a new job two years ago after moving with 50-75% travel and I have no time to work on it so I'm buying a Suzuki Cappuccino instead.
Project is based on a second gen RX-7 donor that ran and drove great (but was disappearing from rust) with plans to use the engine, transmission, differential, half shafts, and uprights. The complete intake, ECU, stock header, oil cooler, engine wiring harness, etc are all there too.
Frame is done minus the fire walls and sheet metal on the transmission tunnel. Engine and transmission are mounted. Differential isn't but I have the spot picked out.
I have a complete suspension designed around the RX-7 uprights (with an insert for the front knuckles to convert them to double wishbone) with essentially no dynamic roll center movement in bump or roll but nothing fabricated yet.
I have pictures but they aren't hosted anywhere. PM me an email address and I'll send them.
Available to any GRMer for free. Come and get it.

2. Rent Uhaul truck and trailer.

I think Robbie is trying to achieve Patrick level on cars.
Trying my best to stay on task here.
For a change...

I got it out here in a Uhaul trailer. I used the biggest they had available (5x10?) and it fit with room to spare.
I'd cut a break for anyone going to the challenge but it's already free so....

Your asking price is more than reasonable. It's finding the time for all my automotive plans and dreams that's the limiting factor for me. I preidct you will have a solid commitment from a "buyer" within 48 hours.

"Patrick level" # of cars would be relatively easy. "Patrick level" quality is a nobler goal to pursue.

I'm an idiot and can't find the PMs. Maybe I don't have enough posts?
Why must message board formats change?
Haha good question! Couldntseetheground@gmail.com is my email though.
I'm not terribly far away in northern CO. Would definitely like to see some pics if you don't mind!

Pm should just go to your email. (Ie it sends you an email from the board). Not like a message inbox like many forums have.
Good thing I'm in the far corner of the state, have no garage, and too many projects already.
If PM's are an issue
Send pics to rickb794@gmail.com
Looks like PMs aren't working... I'll send emails.
Berk, berk, berk.
Please send pitchers to rdcycle@yahoo.com. I'm in San Jose and I've got no business but I missed out on a LoCost for the same selling price in Vancouver. Canada. And the want is high again...
Berk.
Since a bunch of people asked, outside dimensions are 44.5" x 110.5". I'll send pictures to everyone that emailed me tonight.
Looks like Micah is going to take it!
Just loaded it up today and dragged it all the way back to Colorado. I'll start a build thread when it warms up a bit.
Nice meeting you, Mike, and thanks again!
