With the Solstice out of the garage, the time has come to part ways with my trailer.
At the advice of the forum, I got an Econo Trailer 15-foot open car hauler this past winter. I've put about ~2k miles on it and it's been great! The time has come to move on from having a trailer in my parking space, however, so I'd love to be able to pass it on to a GRMer.
Based on Craigslist in my area, I could probably sell it for $2,000, so I'll sell it at a GRM price of $1,800. I'd be happy to bring it to you within a few hours of DC as well. This is not a "steal" like the Solstice was, but it is a great piece of equipment at what is likely the best price you can find for the condition.
The specs for the trailer can be found here (note that this is the "narrow" option on the trailer). http://www.econotrailer.com/Open.html
To save you a click, here are the key features:
15 ft. Runways
21 ft. Total Length
4 Wheel Brakes
Curb Weight 1451 lbs.
7000 lb. G.V.W
3500 lb. Axles
8' Overall Width & 6'5 1/2" Clearance Between Fenders
Comes with a 7-way plug, breakaway kit, safety chains and a post jack. For GRM, I will include the jack wheel, a hitch lock and a set of Summit Racing ratchet straps (including axle straps) if you want.
Let me know if you are interested! I'll let it sit on here for a week or so before I sell it on Craigslist.
Thanks! Dave
