How so? I feel I'm pretty savvy on FBM and flag scam ads often. This looks like a big project someone doesn't want to deal with anymore and needs to dump. But, like, that's just my opinion man.

Ad says: Selling as is, will need to have it towed,
I don't think its a scam. The market for huge, hard to move items is not that great.

You mean not everyone has a rigger/heavy hauler on retainer...?
I am on team probably not a scam. It may be in worse condition than the paint and chrome simulators let on though. If it needs an engine that is a big expense, brakes, big expense. A lot of people don't want to take on that kind of work for something that is large and hard to hide. It makes the market slim for vehicles like that.
All that said I think that is probably a pretty good deal, I'm glad it is NIMBY or I would have to ask the wife about it and then get laughed at for wanting to bring that hulk to my backyard to tow my 21' camper :-)
This last sentence of the ad was what I was thinking.
"Definitely cheaper than living in one bedroom apt!".
The 3116 Cat is aka "The School Bus" engine, so I'd think that means plenty of places with the knowledge to fix them.
I had a Topkick with one that suffered from rusty fuel tanks and clogged pickups (that embarrassingly took me too long to diagnose). Mine was a heavy duty ambulance with many storage compartments, but, I couldn't stand up inside mine (like you could in the toterhome above). Came with the thing to pump up and test blood pressure. The ambulance was pretty cool but, (like a boat), I was pretty ecstatic when I sold it.
