NMNA - - $800.  Needs carb work.

Add lightness and keep the same low CG, they handle pretty well.  I wouldn't advise removing the fenders, ever had your face media blasted?

They all need carb work. Carbs are a massive pain on them. There's a guy who rebuilds and sets up.the carbs so it's a plug and play. Not cheap, but the way to go. Keep it stock. The most value and these are touring bike, not cafe bikes

Agreed, but unless it's a barn find 356GTB/4, I'm leaning toward fun.  NGW.com is a good site for info and parts.  You are only limited by your imagination, it's an $800 bike.

I regret not picking up a very clean and original yellow '75 a few years ago. He wanted $3400 and I offered $3000.

If that is the original exhaust and it doesn't have rust on it (hard to tell from the photo), that's likely worth the asking price by itself.

And yes, they all need the carbs rebuilt.

The carbs are not difficult at all. If you have ever rebuilt a dirt bike carb you can do a Goldwing. There are just three more of them. You can sync them by ear in a pinch or give that part to someone with the proper guages to save buying them. The hardest part is getting them out of the bike.
