I love this one!
Ohhhh We made boats like the Speedliner when we were kids up at the lake in the summers. The motors kept getting bigger until the transom started to fail (a couple broke off in mid rip across the lake) so what do we do? reinforce the transom with aluminum angle or steel angle and keep upping the motor size. Eventually the motors were to the point where it would sink the boat if it was not moving. Crazy fun fun for about 7 summers. Teh best part was if you crashed or wrecked those were sold as plans at the local hardware store that you could screw together with standard lumber and plywood. I think I made 2 or thre eof them and my friends did as well. There was a group of us that were always racing them on the lake. You could make a boat in a weekend with basic tools and then lots of poly urethane. Those were so much fun!!!
