GRMers are getting this "special offer" first.  I'm in Dagsboro, Delaware, and NEED to clean the crap out of my yard.  Price is "scrap value."  If, perchance, anyone is interested in this sh...stuff, I will consider holds depending on excuses/circumstances.  Once a reasonable time has passed, I'll then advertise this mess locally or just call the recycler.

Please keep in mind:  I'm trying to get rid of stuff quickly/easily.  If you want shipping, then I'm going to have to charge for time/effort.  (Your local craft beer/whiskey counts as currency.)  I can call the local recycler and empty this easily.  I just happen to think you guys might want/need something first.

'95 Continental
Stopped driving ?4? years ago due to an intermittent dead battery.  My gut feel was the anti-theft system.  While sitting, the rear brake line rusted through.  The transmission always had an occasional chirp but never failed me.  The engine is an absolute jewel and I'd quickly swap it into something else if I could.

1980-ish RWD G30 boxtruck chassis
The intent was to shorten it and put an absurd car body on it.

'60 Rambler
Have the title from the original owner.  Car sat for 30 years in the woods.  It's in terrible condition.  The only thing holding the front to the back of the unibody is the roof and A-pillars.  (This was the absurd car.)  Moving it will be a challenge.

Thunderbird SCs
There are 3 engine/trans-less carcasses waiting for someone to harvest parts.  ...along with a shed full of parts and one rebuildable engine.  One title available***

'94 Mark VIII carcass
I highly doubt anyone would want it but decided to add to the list anyway.  ...but has a clear (in my name) title.

'04 Golf
"Ran when parked" but won't start now.   Belonged to friend of my son who said, "It needs a clutch."  Seemed fine driving around the yard. Have title***

(Year unknown) Saab 900
Belonged to same friend of son.  Completely unknown running condition.  Body:  Eh.

'96 Explorer front frame with suspension
Saved it for my truck but changed my mind.

4 vintage aluminum/?magnesium? wheels
They're old enough to not have the beadlock ridge.

"Small" partially completed tractor puller with motorcycle engine
Tires are probably the only valuable part but they're old.

Pictures are available for anything.

***Have a title in hand, signed over to me.  Will help with transfer, but you pay all fees/taxes.

Thanks for looking,
--Keith

What engine does the 04 Golf have?   I really need to stop reading before I get into trouble.  Saab 900 pictures?

Tell me about the G30. Is it a roller or bare frame? Any pictures?

Could you post some pics of the T birds and Golf.

Thanks,  Paul B

Thunderbird SC parts, I may be interested. I have a Cougar XR7 that I want to 5-speed swap, do you have a clutch pedal and/or any related assemblies. Also could use some other spares for it.

OK, here's some pictures from this morning.  I can get more, detailed, later, if desired.

I'm also interested in the Golf. How is the interior after sitting?

G30 Roller

The "frame" on this thing relies on the box for strength.  Basically, it's a unibody.  My thoughts were to add a channel to it.

The T'Bird front subframe laying on it is from when I was measuring to see if the R&P might replace the van-steering box/links.  (Looks like it might.)

The truck next to it doesn't belong to me.  If there's interest, I can contact the owner.

Two of the 'Birds:

I bought the one on the right simply for the interior.  Unfortunately it got wet inside.  (Still "looks" good.)

Sorry, no manual parts available.  If I could have stumbled on a pedal box, I probably would have put one together.

Third 'Bird

This is the one that started it for me.  My (then) 18 year-old daughter had an LX with a garbage interior.  Found this in a friend's junkyard and he gave it to me.  Well, it was more to her because I swapped the black leather interior into her car.

Sorry, I forgot shots of the Saab.

It was cold out and I wasn't dressed appropriately.  Can get pics of it, the Golf interior and any others that anyone wants.

drock25too:  While looking to see where everyone is from, I noticed we're a year and a day different in age.

All the 'Bird stuff is '93 and older.

...and another (par) Golf shot.

In reply to Indy "Nub" Guy :

There have been numerous projects I've thought of doing with that thing.  Dying wasn't one of them.

The story, if anyone is interested:

My father-in-law inherited it when a friend of his died.  My father-in-law had no interest but my (then) 20 year-old son and his friends wanted it.  The only change made since then is, I flipped the header tubes down so they wouldn't fill with water.

Funny story about the SC with the "good" interior.

I was with my (now) son-in-law, to pick up a set of headers.  This car was on a trailer and I was interested in SCs so I  asked if it was for sale.  It was.  I asked about the engine.  He laughed and said to go check it out.

There was oil on the trailer so that's where I reached.  There was a hole in the pan that I could almost reach into.  "What's the story?"

He laughed even harder and said something along the lines of:

This kid claims he was driving down the highway and started to hear a tap, so he pulled into the church parking lot and it just stopped running.

I bought the car for the interior.

During engine disassembly, I pulled the pan and saw this silver circle in one of the bores.  Took a while to figure out what I was looking at.  My avatar is the answer.

I had pulled the engine figuring there'd be something useful in it.  Nope.  Shrapnel had ruined everything.  Even the camshaft had huge gouges.

That tractor-puller-thingy does look like an excellent piece of art but I'd use it for what I already have my lawn mower turned tractor for.  I could see a death or two after a few drinks and a dirt country road.

There's some interest in the truck, but don't go out of your way to get info on it.  Not really in a position to do more than kick myself over missing a potentially good deal

I've been thinking about a commuter now that I have a gas-guzzling van.  More on the Golf?
