Same car!

Wrong wheels. The Roadkill car had alloy knock-off wheels that were probably worth more than the rest of the shell or the finished car! That also tells me that the roadkill car has a stock MGB rear axle.

Gotta admit though, the paint job confirms it.

It did originally.  In a later episode they upgraded to a beefier axle and I think made some significant suspension changes.

Edit:  this was one of my favorite hot rod garage projects.  Wish I could justify buying it.

That is pretty.  But space and time are my big issues right now.  Too many projects stacked up to be completed at this point.

Might want to get some paint on the chassis improvements.

I loved this build, too. Tony seemed to have some serious fun canyon carving for the cameras.

I just went to your profile and read what you wrote about that B-GT.  Classic.

That could be worth a lot more in a different part of the country, and or marketed to the right crowd.

At $6,820us, that seems like a helluva deal.

The ad is gone, but I'm curious what price it was listed for?

Loved this build.

I'm pretty sure that $6900 was the asking price for the Hot Rod Garage build.

Was listed at $6900 but in reality it was worth challenge money as al it could ever be was a rough track car. It had some nice retail-priced bits like the MOSS front suspension.

I want to build something with hatter -pipes.Either that or a "Turbo on a Stick" that deploys on flexible exhaust pipe when I hit the magic button!
