i'm sitting here trying to figure out what that two-tone green thing is in the background, then realized it's just a one-tone Jag that is part in sunlight and part in shade.
also, "12 made for the whole world" nearly 30 years ago. i wonder which parts are NLA.
Price is high. Thats a $3-5k car depending on how bad of a condition it is in.
im guessing at auction he'd get $1900.
running and driving for less that 4kgbp
Running and driving. Special long wheelbase so one of the special 12 built. Same year. Full service history, current MOT. 15kgbp
these cars are worth nothing

I don't think you can use UK listings for Bentleys as indicators of value in the US, even discounting the 12 year age difference. It's like using old Cadillac prices in the US to explain why they're overpriced in Sweden (which loves old Cadillacs for some reason).
And hopefully the US one isn't as rusty!

Landing the car would be about $3k including all paperwork. Shipping prices are in the dumpster right now. I'd say you can use these as indicators. Running and driving cars can be had for similar or less moment abroad. They're worth nothing. That guys non running $10k Bentley should be about $3k.
Look at the 2nd car I posted. Same special long wheelbase car. Running and driving. MOT. Full service history. For 15k gbp from a dealer who only does exotic cars.
I agree that the US listing is...optimistic...but I do find importation takes a bit of extra work. I found it easy in 2001, but in 2021 it was more challenging to find a broker. There's definitely some value in having a car that's already in-country.
You posted that second car while I was writing, so I didn't see it before :) Man, just look at that back seat.
A Bentley gets insanely expensive really quickly. If you cannot test systems, you have to assume something will need fixing. So, on this one, assume all systems need some. Just start pricing brake components and you'll want to run
That's a perfect Charlie Watts car. Apparently he owned a number of vintage luxury cars and never drove them. He would dress up in his Sunday best and go into his garage and just sit in them. This car looks ready-made for that.

I have a friend who is a Bentley/Rolls mechanic, and he echoes your sentiment.
