Specifically looking for something owned and maintained by a GRMer. An automatic Corolla would be good enough. I hate working on rusty E36 M3boxes, hence the southern requirement. Not much in the classifieds at the moment. Buehler?
also, I'm still lamenting the loss of the E60. That really threw a wrench into my fleet plan.
Have a neighbor that has an early 2000's Corolla. Automatic, cloth interior, silver exterior, probably some faded paint/dead clear coat since it sits outside. Best I remember it had around 190k miles. Needed tires, headliner was drooping, probably few other needs but it did run. I almost bought it a few years ago but passed on it. He's an older man that used to sell cars here and there and he has a couple still sitting around. $800 would probably buy it.

I found those all fast by searching keywords. I went to Ann Arbor CL and searched words like:
Southern, South, and the states that you think of as rust free like Florida and Carolina as well as their two letter abbreviation

We have an 08 Mazda 6 for sale that's ugly but Alabama car/rust free, New tires, etc for $2k. 160k on the clock and the AC works.
I believe it means "Angry (Corvair's) Kid 2"

How ugly?
Poor bodywork by a PO flaking bondo, not thick but coming off where someone skimmed a good coat on a damaged 1/4 and sprayed it, and the dog tried to get the car that hid under the hood. Ugly. Will get pics if you want

Not southern but a pretty clean 2010 Saab 9-3. I bought it in 2011 for my wife. Went to my son 2 years ago. He is off to MSU and we have too many cars. Always serviced. New summer tires and if wanted new winter tires both on Saab wheels. I have a lift if you want to check it out. We are in Grand Blanc about 1/2 hr from you.
I'm going to be selling my Volvo in the next couple weeks as I am moving to California. Invested almost $10,000 planning to drive it into the ground and I will be taking a bath and asking $3k obo, includes a winter wheel/tire setup and other goodies. Not a southern car though. I'm in SE Wisconsin.

The Saab was never a project. Bought 1 year old for my wife. She got a TL with 12k miles and it went to my son. It is the oldest car at the house so it must go. Also asking 3k.
