NMNA. With an Olds Vista Cruiser roof, isn't it a Malibu wagon?

I came to two realizations looking at this. First, that's awful. Secondly, if you had parts from a Malibu wagon and an El Camino, you could in theory combine them into a two-door wagon like a Nomad. And I think that would be really cool.
So this Vista cruiser and an El Camino hook up in a bar one night then 20 years later Mr Camino answers the door and this thing says "hello I'm your son".
The ad's gone, but I see a Elcamino with a cap on it thats been bonded to the body. I don't hate it but...Why? This is the 1st time I have seen Cadillac tailghts added to a car that didn't look awful.

If I get an el camino I want to be able to throw whatever I damn well want in the bed
