A good friend is looking for an e36 to use as the starting point for a new race car build. He currently races an e30 ITS car in SCCA and is ready to move up into a faster class. We're in Gainesville, FL so bonus points for somewhere in the southeast.
Anyone have any leads?

I have a 1998 328is in JAX (Orange Park), which I had intended to build into a Spec E36 . I backed away because I felt it was too nice to gut yet. 197K, but PO rebuilt motor 40-50K ago. Also, it is a sunroof car, which was prohibitive to me for a cage. Lots of nice upgrades, have drove it to and tracked it at Daytona in recent months.
With E36 prices these days, i have to ask the question. What is your budget?

I sold my E30 and have been seriously considering getting in an E36 (also local to JAX). Decent, reasonably priced E36s are getting harder to find, unless you're willing to manual-swap or M42/M44. I'll PM you.
