2 for 1 S60 to be exact
I have two Volvo S60 AWD Turbos. Both have dual climate control, sunroofs and ultra comfortable heated seats. These were luxury cars around $45,000 new. You can find countless ones around with 400k miles on these redblock engines. These cars are well built and don't rust. These cars still look good.
first one:
2003 145k miles very nice black leather- Clean title with a light hit from a run in with a deer. Fender and hood were replaced. I have the metallic black paint that I bought last year. Was to fix it up for my son, but a recent divorce leaves me with no time or desire to complete. Really nice car.
Second one:
2002 estimated 180k. Speedometer was broke when I bought it for parts, and it ran so good, I ended up driving it for a year, then stole parts for my daughters S60 so she had hers running. So now it needs a timing belt, cam seal ( I have one) and a pulley to be ready to drive in a couple of hours.
I really liked this car. I have a short commute to work now, so I'd rather not have more than one vehicle, so I have a large SUV for the kids.
I'd like to sell them together for $2000 for both, but I'll consider splitting them up.

God I hate being broke.
Those strike me as high prices to buy two non-runners with questionable pasts.
1. Those are not redblock engines.
2. The pair is worth maybe $1000 on the high end.
Yeah, those are over-priced. Also, I'm willing to bet they're both FWD at this point.

If they were S60rs then yes that would be a steal. But base s60s are not worth much.
And if they think its redblock powered, then there are likely many other things they're wrong and/or delusional about.

The ad doesn't really say that the two toner is drivable.
It does say that he planned to fix it up for his son, but didn't.
The picture, if you zoom in, says the rear tire is flat on the two toner.
It sucks being broke?
It sucks to have money put away for retirement that you shouldn't be touching at 56 years old.
Maybe this needs to be moved over to the 1st World Problems thread.

Not sure if the proper response is "I'll take your word as one of an expert in the field", or if the proper response is "You don't want one, you want two or three or seven"

i disagree, but if the owner doesnt have proof of timing belt being under 50k they'll have to do it immediately or pay someone else to and that's another $500+

I have 4+ Volvos, just voicing my current frustration with them.
I've quit them for now, but only because I recently got my first Miata. I have a factory S70 T5 manual for sale with a replacement trans for the one that's in it that e36 M3 the bed
