I had a '79 Civic 1200. I remember being all kinds of nervous because I had to notch the crossmember to clear the A-T Engineering header.

I have one with a notched crossmember and a 4-1 header. Soon it will need to be notched for a downpipe

Spsh. Put a turbo on it and toss the engine in the rear, then the pucker factor is about right.

Seems like a fun car...but when it comes to projects like this the devil is in the details, hard to judge the quality of work without seeing it first hand.
