Please, you don't need lay down seats to get laid (as one who managed in some very small 2 seat cars)
To me the real negative is that with all those seats kids are tempted to haul as many friends with them as will fit......I think it's safer to limit the number of riders and distractions if you can.

1. My kid was never allowed more than 1 passenger - violators stop driving.
2. I knocked one off in a '59 VW Bug - youth & testosterone overcomes all; 'cept that huge cramp from my heel to my neck.
