I need to clear out some space and have a project that I won’t be getting to any time soon. The deal is that all of the items need to go. I have a McSorley 442 chassis with a stainless steel fuel tank included and mounted. I also picked up a Buick/Olds 215 aluminum V-8 and an 80’s/90’s Ford 2.3 turbo motor. I don’t have any knowledge of either one, but both have been stored inside my heated shop for many years and turn freely. There are also 2 Ford Ranger 7.5 rear ends complete from drum to drum. I grabbed 2 because there are articles online which show how to shorten them and use 2 of the short side tubes and axles in order to make a up a 55-1/2” wide set-up. A pair of Triumph Spitfire front uprights/hubs plus a spare are included. I have a Datsun Z-car rack too.
I also have a BMW K1200RS engine, transmission, wiring harness and everything needed to make it run. I’ve been informed that the driveshaft rotates in the wrong direction and the rear end would need to be flipped in order to make it go faster forward than in reverse. It doesn’t need to go but can be included for an additional $500.
I need the room and they are for sale here in northeast PA. If you’re interested, it all needs to go together. Want the chassis but not the motors, it’s going to be on you to sell them once you get them home.
Build for the Challenge Open class and have some fun. It can easily be done with the BMW engine/transmission. We can write the receipt for each of the pieces and parts so when/if you sell them or simply don't use them, you can do your budget.
$1400 for the frame, 215, 2.3 turbo, Spitfire uprights/hubs and 2 Ranger rears.
$1900 for everything plus the BMW stuff.
I have a forklift to load the pallets onto your truck or trailer.
There are many things there that i REALLY want... but I'd never fool my wife with the line "but I could sell some of it " She knows I wouldn't
Remember, it's easier to beg for forgiveness than ask for permission. Easy for me to say as I'm not married!
So after reading the Cushman for sale thread. I says to myself, I sure would like to have that 1300RS and some small chassis to put it in.
I want all of it.
You see my Late Father ,RIP, and his buddies Ed and Ted (of Fast Cars MG suspension) spent 20 years not finishing a 215 and Porsche powered Locost. Its my turn to follow in their footsteps, only Bike powered.
I also have a 2.3 powered Lemons car,so have a use for almost all of it.
Big life decision here. Do I sell my cream puff S197 HPDE car and focus on building and Racing or sell my soul to buy this mess.
Damn the teenagers and College tuition.
Carry on, nothing to see here.

Before I married, at 45, that was definitely a motto.
Still tends to be... except finances!
Unlike most "modern" 'Mericans, we made the decision that we would share money, as well as our lives.
I can often "hide" a few hundred, but...
I am interested in the 215, if it does become available as a stand alone sale
Seems like a great deal but I just bought a Z car so not for me.
The other 7 ad thread (hope that car is not that ugly in person - horrible thumbnail) reminded me of this;
surprised it hasn't moved! If it hangs around too awful long, I might need to pm ya.
Gotta do ac on the Allroad we just got; had a tire separate on the truck this weekend (some hassle every trip this winter) and then whatever else goes wrong. But at least this contract is hanging on (also subject to change)
TL, DR: still interested...still broke
This is still here at the shop. I've had a few conversations with somewhat interested parties, but no buyer yet. I did find a pair of cycle front fenders which will be included. I'm also going to bend up a rollbar for it but not weld it in. The buyer can cut it to their preferred height once they fit a seat and see just how tall they would want it.
Someone must be looking for a cool winter project.

I am interested and can pick everything up on Saturday evening if still available. I can't direct message you because I just joined the forum.
I do not need the engines so they would be available to whomever wants them.
@03panther, I'm located in Atlanta so it will be much closer to you for pick up.

If you want to sell some parts, I would be interested in the cycle fenders and fuel tank, and I'm local ish. I have a frame already.
If it doesn't sell, I will build front suspension arms, shock mounts, rear 4-link and panhard bar to get it rolling. I don't want to part it out, I'll just move it up to the warehouse and store it.
In reply to Sonic :
I may have another stainless steel fuel tank. I need to check a few garages and see. I'll get back to you if I find another one.
Which gen K1200RS, 1st or 2nd? 2nd has more hp, FWIW.
