Description: Bought the car Feb 17th 2010 from Bill Britt Volkswagen in Fredericksburg, VA. I had roughly 36k miles on the odometer when I snagged it. Loved the car ever since and still do. I've done all the maintenance on time or earlier than recommended and have dates and mileages written in a notebook when all services where complete. This thing has been clicking off the miles like nothing, still drives like the day I drove it home even with 118k on the clock now.
- Paint in great shape, I wax it 3-5 times a year and always before winter time. Never had any touch ups or accidents
- Interior is just as clean. No holes in carpet or stains in seats.
- Still pulls very strong
- Brakes are fantastic as most VW are. They also last a lifetime.
- All the recalls have been done and are up to date. Most I did myself because I don't like others working on my car.
- All bushings are tight, steering feels very tight
- VW driver gear springs all around which puts the ride height where is was intended from VW. No US spec pedestrian ride height.
- 12mm hub eccentric rear spacers from ECS tuning which bring the rear wheels out flush.
- Koni Yellow struts in the rear
- No chip or other ECU mod that has upped the boost. Motor is 100% all stock
- DSG trans shifts smooth and works great.
- Last trip it got over 34 MPG going to Culpeper. Typically I get around 30.
- I have two key fobs that will go with it plus a valet key.
- Timing belt, water pump and idlers were done at 86k with OE parts. Trans was just flushed recently. No big services needed for a long time.
