So, I'm considering selling my 1997 Van Diemen RF97 Formula Continental and my 1960 Series 2 Land Rover. Still doing my homework on pricing. Willing to answer reasonable questions, lol. The rover is an 88" wagon. Located near DC

Eric Langbein (Langbein Racing) in Annapolis can give you a good appraisal of the VD.

Is the LR gas or diesel. How are the bulkhead, and frame rust wise?

Gas. Bulkhead looks good but needs framework at the fuel tank out rigger and in the front half of the driver's side. The rear has had a galvanized replacement

Yeah, need to. Just decided to do this reluctantly. Long covid has kept me off the track for 3 years now.

That's a good formula car project. Wish I could, but need to put my money towards a new daily driver.

Yes 81 CBX. 5k miles. Complete but needs a thorough cleaning. Tank has clear issues. Have a spare fairing and side cases. Come this week and you can have it for 8k

It's not a car project,  it's a formula race car project.  And, honestly, this is closer to working on a motorcycle than a car. Maybe even easier,  after wrenching on my ducati 916

5K miles? You do know how to get my attention . Let me do a bit more research on these and I'll get back to you in the next couple of days.

Does it run?

Towed. Fuel tank needs replacing or refurbished. Tires have a ton of tread but too old to use on road. And I wouldn't want to push that frame too hard until a little work is pur into it. But as I'm at 4k and not 24k... Plus the series 2 is the rarest, and my opinion,  the coolest of the Series...

I haven't run it this year but ran like a raped ape last year. Gotta love that 6!

I have a guy who can pick up the VD for 5k this weekend. In case anyone is interested at that level.  The CBX is gaining traction too incase there's interest in that.
