The biggest pain is that I cannot find a replacement pigtail for the tps. I pulled the throttle body as I did preventative maintenance: all the coolant/hcac hoses, valve cover gaskets, secondary chain tensioners (replace the plastic ones with metal), intake gaskets, upgrade the t-stat housing with metal, vacuum lines, and other stuff. There's some little stuff I haven't finished. It has new plugs as well. Trans was rebuilt shortly before I bought it.
Also: new front pas and braided brake lines, ancillary belt, radiator and various other bits
In reply to Docwemple :
Isnt the tps pigtail the same as the early to mid 2000s Mustangs?
In reply to yupididit :
I'll look. It's a 4 prong. When the AJ26 became the 27 they went to 3. Those are dead common
Quick look, it appears to be 3 prong

I looked at a similar image for a xk8 off the interwebs and I'm fairly certain it's a 4wire GM connector. The yellow internal interlock gave me a thought. Which has me at digikey for this:
Maybe this helps?
Which part number should I use?

Any of them in a search bar?
2002 996 owners manual. $25
Blaupunkt Heidelberg VI for a VW. Was working when removed but has been in storage for years. $100
Boat still for sale? Has it run recently and would the trailer take an 8 hour ride home? Price is good but I'm starting school in exactly one month and can't do a project.
And as 03Panther asked, what brand is the 65 hp? Also does it have power tilt/trim?
In reply to P3PPY :
I haven't run it in about 2 years. Had a lot of work done on it before I bought it. Trailer is fine, but for an 8 hour trip, I'd buy at least 1 spare and degrease the bearings. The engine is a Johnson from when they still made great engines. This also has a top, sort of a bimini
Oh, by it, I was referring to the engine

We're you interested in my TJ?

Haha I never asked about it but... yes, kinda. But with no project ability at the moment, then no.
Are you able to send a pic of the boat? Mother in law and I were just talking about getting one of these boats
In reply to P3PPY :
I should be able to take pics in a day or 2. Gawd how I love moving
996 manual sold. Radio pending.
In reply to Docwemple :
I do not, though I can give you my work address if that makes a difference.
