"Extremely rare 1962 Arkley SS
This car started life as a 1962 Austin Healey Bugeye Sprite and was sent to Britten Motor Works, B.C. for a complete high performance re-do!
They are right-hand drive and there has been less than 6 accounted for in the United States!
It is complete and drivable if you install the new interior but it truely deserves to be restored back to its original glory.
The brakes and front suspension have been redone, drivetrain is great also.
It comes with lots of literature including all specs.
The Arkley SS models were built for performance and are extremely fast due to the upgraded engine and lightness of the vehicle, it is not a toy to say the least!

I would rather have a Midget that was rebodied with a fiberglass Bugeye front and rear clip. The Arkley is undeniably ugly in my opinion.
Just remembered where I photographed the Arkley: Chimney Rock hill climb in either 1994 or ’95. It was red.
I remember them. I think a guy that was in our British car club was going to manufacture them. Obviously that never happened.

yeah, type-o in title, oh well, I guess they were still looking for a pre-warish taste then and maybe the bugeye was too modern at the times.

I corrected the title for you. Mainly because it looked way close to my last name and I'm not sure I'd want to be confused with this thing.
