Might be a 315W, but more than likely it is a 302 car. Upper rad hose says it is not an M.

No quarter window is neat, not all 77-79 Tbirds were that way. It also has the sport gauge cluster. If it were a t-top car it would be really similar to the '79 I had long ago.

I had one that looked a lot like that. 302 car. It hated me, every time I drove it in the rain it would break down.

My first car was a '77 Cougar, the rebadged version of this car. Mine had the 351M.  Slow as molasses and 10mpg, what a combo!

I figured when they gave up on the 460’s, (76?) they had either 351M, or 400’s. Maybe a 351C, but not sure when ford stopped using Cleveland’s. Didn’t expect 302 in one.
