Stumbled upon this during my usual marketplace searching and thought; this should come to the attention of GRM:

1991 Lotus Elan

Looks kind of beat, but I understand these are uncommon cars.

Basically just a fwd miata with an European brand name and an isuzu engine. Maybe it would be a good autocross build.

Yeah...  They had a reputation for being exceptional handling cars.  I've only seen one on the road and I thought it looked great, 25+ years (at the time) on.

IIRC, my Lotus mechanic told me they were pretty solid.  Biggest problem was related to the power windows.

Def worth saving. I remember my local Lotus dealer (Criswell) having these on the front line when new.
