My best friend owns fifteen or so TR7s and TR8s, I lose count. Terrific little cars, you just have to learn everything about them to really enjoy ownership !

You can still pick up a model of the prototype at most hardware stores laugh

I was pleasantly surprised by the dynamics and controls of the TR. I've only driven a TR8, so I can't comment on the power of the 7. Fun little car.

My first car was a '76 Wedge.

Great ergonomics, and the most comfortable (cloth) seat EVER.

Finally put the restored seats and interior back in my TR8 and took it out with my wife last Friday to the local brewery. They are comfortable, modern versions of the British sports car, I remember driving gsmith's TR7 many years ago and was presently surprised how modern they were but still had that same "feel". The wider stance makes for a more comfortable car and at least in TR8 form, they sounds and drive great! That looks like a nice example for $3,500, TR7's are still a cheap way to get into classic cars!
