Phil Swift did the same thing, only he cut his in half, and taped it back together with Flex Tape just to prove he ain't no Bob Costas.
Homefab does take some work. My FIL is in the process of building an over engineered airboat. He bought the Jon boat and he's doing the rest with a blueprinted boxer motor, 1.8l I think, he got for free. It'll be crazy and we might chop off an arm. lol
