1965 corvair convertible project does start and runs then acts like it's running out of gas. Replaced brake master cylinder but you have to pump it a lot get a good pedal don't see a leak and they have been bled. Tired of messing with it don't have the time or money for it want gone. Floors are rusted and need to be replaced last owner just put metal over the spots. Has brand new tires on 15in rally wheels 7in on front and 8in wide in rear with new rings and caps. $2000 firm also have original wheels and extra engine parts.
This was just to be different.

This is the real post.
Slim pickings down here in Tampa for Challenge money. None of them are great candidates, but I'd probably go with the Caddy

Here's three for the "too big to go through an autocross gate" class.

Bad trans? 3 on the tree.
I have one'bout to be scrapped.
You can have it if you actually do the challenge with this car.
Would have to change from ball/trunion to slip yoke.

No joke. I am weak
I mean, the body would probably fit nicely on a modern panther frame.
nocones said:One of you should do that. It's only like what 40 minutes away from Robbie?
That it's listed as "donor car" leads me to assume it's like evan's ranchero

yes, I'm sure if you showed up with $1800 cash and had some packers stickers on your bumper you would leave with this car.
I also happen to think this one is currently winning the thread.

Which is why I think it should be mounted on a modern panther frame. I'm reminded of an old adam sandler classic "and the seat cushion has a big rip so a spring always pokes the ..."
Found 6 60's cars for sale and not a single one advertised for even close to challenge price. $5,900 was the cheapest.
I'd buy the six of these on separate receipts. Probably build the white one.

Maybe we could do a group Challenge buy and split them up. Create a Nash Class. I'm local. Just sayin'...
In reply to AAZCD (Forum Supporter) :
That would be awesome. A NASH group buy. It would be neat to see who could do what with a "spec" starting point.
