Money for plastic porsches has gone beyond stupid to ludicrous

If any Porsche should garner that kind of money, though, it's one of these.

20 Million for a 917 with no win history and that had a serious crash and rebuild. God these things have gone nuts in price.

Would make a sweet track day car.

It even has a child's seat.

I grabbed the last 917 right before the auction in August, so maybe I will take a look at this one too. Dropping $40+ million on two cars may piss the wife off a bit, but it's only money right?
