Porsche 968, 944, 924 cars and parts, Huge package deal!

We have decided to move on from Porsche 924,944 & 968 cars and sell our complete inventory. This will be a super deal for anyone serious about these cars. Fifteen years of cars, engines, transmissions, rust-free body parts, chassis and tons of general parts. We still build race cars and recently stopped parting out complete 944 cars. Would you sell either of the transmissions? Would they hold up to a 400 HP LS1?

The 968 6 speed trans is the beefier of the two. It has the "all gear" Torsen LSD and the final gearing is much more suited to the LS1. I would sell it separate for $2500. I don't think the 4.11's would hold up in the other trans to all that torque.

I'm assuming that's just the trans, and not the suspension as well? I'm not sure if I can work it out (money and transportation, I'm in MI) at this point, but I'm interested.

That is the trans alone. Don't waste time with the turbo suspension. Not enough difference for all the work. Go with a coil over kit instead. You can change spring rates and ride height at will. Stay with stock sway bars for the street. The fat bars get very darty and pull the car all over on rough roads. Get the factory M030 968 club bars for the track. Great balance and good price.

Florida??? Couldn't be much farther could you.....

Thanks for the input! Now, my knowledge on these is still limited and yours is not so I'll ask you. I'm not really at the rear suspension part of the build so I haven't researched this real well yet so bear with me....
The reason for the turbo suspension is for the wider track if I understand it correctly is for the wider track. If you're saying springs and shocks aren't that much different, and can be had cheaper in the aftermarket, are there other ways to get the wider track besides spacers?

The track width is the same on turbos and N/A's. The wheels are 1" (7 vs 8) wider in the back is all. Porsche widened overall control arm track width in 1987 to allow for antilock brakes, but used a deeper offset to keep the wheel track the same. If your car is an 87+ you can use early wheels to widen the track width 58mm (2.28"). If your car is '86 or earlier, find some '86 turbo rear wheels (16x8").

We sold the expensive transmissions and some other small stuff so we lowered the price to $12,500! This is a super deal for anyone wanting to start racing Porsche's for a reasonable price...our loss is your gain.

I am a bit far from Florida to take it all, but I am interested in the early 944 suspension and brakes to upgrade my early 924 to 4 wheel disc. Do you have and would you part with those as well as how much would you want for spindles, hubs, brake master, trailing arms. Etc..

And are either of the 2.5 motors in running condition or are they in need of rebuild? What is the price on those?

Sorry, we do not have any complete early suspensions. The VW guys snap those up quick.

We will sell the 968 for $5K or BO. We bought it as a well running daily driver. We stripped and sold the interior, pulled the fuel tank and lines for cleaning and prepped the inside for a cage. The project stopped there. Both 2.5 engines were pulled from good running cars, compression and oil pressure verified good. $900 for the '88, $500 for the '84.

We sold the race car. Everything left for $7500!
