I have a Pile of Parts which could well be combined into the start of a Challenge Car if anyone has the time and skill to do so.
Pile includes:
1965 Fiat 600 bare shell. No floors, just an empty shell
Windshield, rear, and side glass
Doors, hood, and rear deck lid
1971 VW Beetle pan, shortened to fit the Fiat wheelbase.
Complete mounted front beam
Front and rear brakes
Transaxle
Four tires/rims to roll the chassis around
Pile is located in Kingston, MA 02364
Asking $500
Could be, surely unique. To make it in to a daily driver would take some time and money, to slap it together for the Challenge wouldn't take much at all. Weld/bolt some out-riggers to the VW pan and hang the body, pop in a seat and steering column, patch any rust/rot/holes with sheet aluminum, add engine/trans and stir gently until done . . .

Wow. That's a blast from the past!
Before I sold the Subaru 360 to Nocones (which became the LMP 360), it sat on a shortened VW chassis!
GLWS!
Is the bug pan wider than the 600?
