OK, I'm stymied. I've been looking for a replacement for the 323 for months now. Gotten close on a few only to have them fall apart or be to far away/costly to bring to me (I have almost no free time right now, so a 23 hour drive is not going to work). Someone within 1000 km of Toronto must have a turn key car for under $10k that they want to sell. I don't need to go fast, I actually prefer reliable over speed (see the no time thing).
What have you got?
Within 62 miles of Toronto? I'd be curious to know if there were 62 board members within that radius. You might have to cast a wider net. I have a steady Kijiji alert for all of Ontario for any kind of Chump/Lemons car and I don't get very many alerts.
1000 km is 620 miles :)
There's got to be something in Ottawa or near Shannonville. Have you checked with the MCO?
I have been kicking around the idea of selling the Abomination, but it's too far for you. 1500+ KM.
Here's a picture to tempt you.
I've been looking for a new owner for the elky. Don't know how many miles away Charlotte NC is, but 14k and it autocross and daily really well. Not the fastest, but handles and stopped fantastic.
I have a 1970 240Z I could be convinced to sell. Located on Long Island too which I'm pretty sure is 500ish miles from Toronto.
Here's the MCO listing. http://www.mco.org/phpbb/viewforum.php?f=11
Oops my bad. Read twice, speak once.

How about some details on this car. I may be interested.
In reply to bravenrace:
1980 Spitfire. 12a rotary out of a FB. 5 Speed FB transmission. Miata LSD diff. Miata brakes and hubs. Custom front arms, custom rear arms. Yamaha R1 adjustable shocks.
Mike Smith, aka Curmudgeon, built it for the 2006 Challenge. I think it placed in the top 5, but I'm not certain about that.
It is a E-Mod car. It's not competitive on the national level. I did win the SCR-SCCA E-Mod championship several years ago with it.
If you are a big guy, it's pretty tight. I'm 6'2" and 280. It's like a gocart to me. Fun to drive. It will come with a couple of transmissions.
