Found a cool 82 Champ twin stick today on Martha's Vineyard. 2nd owner, and 50k miles. Also it was sold new on the vineyard. Cool car.

You could have Champ twin stick twins.
I thought you sold the Champ?

I didn’t know there were car dealers on the island. Traveled it two vacations - missed those dealers somehow.

There aren't any dealers on the Vineyard that I know of, but apparently there was at some point in time. I know there is a Ford dealer on Nantucket however.

It's not gone. It's available if someone wants it but there's a long term if it's still available dibs.

My estimate is that the Champ is 375 miles away from your house. In my experience, $225-250 via www.uship.com will bring it right to your front door.
Edit. On the website $302 was the lowest "name your own price" option. Seems prices are up but still not unreasonable.

When you put in "non-drivable", the price jumps to well over $600.
Besides, part of the attraction is that it's all but free. Still trying to find a way to snag it myself or see if someone I know is heading up this way.

It's driveable....... just solve the fuel delivery problem, install the provided CV joint-- and you can drive it home!

We didn't bother as it was really easy to get on as light as it is. If no one grabs it first I might be able to take it to Atlanta once school lets out.
In reply to Klayfish :
If that ^ doesn't get you excited then I don't know what will.

You have to tell us more ...

I watched and loved this little car at local Solo events way back in the mid-80s. Bought it a few years ago as the 3rd owner. It has 77K miles. It's been sitting for a couple seasons as I try to figure out what to do with it, and of course find the time - it has low compression, a cracked intake, and corrosion on the right strut tower so its time to re-create it. Considering building it for rallycross instead of solo.
Any ideas from this crowd are welcome!
