I was having trouble sleeping last night and spend an unhealthy amount of time fantasizing about putting this drivetrain in the new to me Suzuki Sidekick. The sad part - depending on how you look at it - is that I could probably zero out the purchase price selling parts other than the engine.
Would that fit in a Boxster?
That would be agood use of a IMS failure by a walk away PO.

At the asking price, that entire car is cheaper than a boxster engine.

I wouldn't be surprised if the replacement headlight is as much as the car as-is asking price.
I worked with a project engineer in NH who had one of these. It was only broken a couple of times during the year I knew him.
These cars actually have a good reputation for reliability. I sent an e-mail. Haven't heard back.

Not bad actually.
The V10 in this was down on power from the full fat V10. There are Gallardos running around with 150-200K miles right now as well.
