Could be something to someone...
I've been eying that one for some time. The sheer quantity of roached 914s out there make this one stand out, and I find the kit attractive.
Here's another one that hasn't seen too much abuse: https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/1051168926347421

Bummed to see the color changed. I get it, but seeing that green engine bay didn’t thrill me. I do like the black over black, though.
If the hell hole is solid, along with jack points, that's a bargain in the current market. Can't believe I bought a good, solid running '70 1.7 for 1500 less than 10 years ago.

Also always fun to talk about 4-lug Fuchs around 911 people. Gasburners are lookers though!
More 914 trivia. If it is a 72 the linkage to use a sideshift needs everything from the gearshift back from a 73 or newer. Also needs a special bushing at the firewall.

Damn right. What's worse than chasing rust. Have you seen the GRM Project 914? Good tips on BMW brakes that fit etc. If I could afford it ....

A quick look on FB and all the 914s were, well, simply scary. Some had rusted to levels even old X19s wouldn't recognize. I've nicer liked the way they look but oh the driving dynamics. Fun little cars. And they ere affordable too. Were. Sad really as these and the 944s are pricing themselves out of the entry level sportscar market. A lot of people will never get to enjoy them.
