As a Kelmark owner, yes some one save this.
Price seems steep for the condition, but it seems all of the beetle based 70s kit cars shot up to around this value in the last year.
I think it was 2014 when I got mine for 4500, ran, drove, was inspectable, did end up needed a alternator. Tires where old, real old, but not flat spotted from sitting, guessing this ones tires will be no different, Over the years I kept hoping it would increase in value as I did work on it, cause I am never going to get back what I put in, but similar cars where 4500, until last year when people with rotted out, no motor bradlys started asking 4500,
V8 would be nice, but you still have that beetle chassis..... I went ej22 to make it fun accelerating, but it still turns in, and brakes like poop. Always thinking about upgrading the brakes, but would really like to find a better chassis, 818, Boxster and a sawsall....
