If the economy that's is improving so fast, was not doing the opposite, in my
life at least. I'd be on the way to get that, and it'd make this coming challenge. Sadly, I doubt I'll live long enough for that kinda play budget.
A friend bought the first new super coupe... I believe 89? Let me drive it. I was being gentle, since not my car. He encouraged me to stand on it - "that's what's she's made for." He regretted that; my reflexes were astounding in those days (my skill, not so much, ) But with those kinda reflexes, and knowing the back road were were on very well... man, what a rush!
He told his sister (my girlfriend at the time). Be careful what you tell him! He'll take ya up on it!!!
I don't know anything about Thunderbirds, but this does indeed have challenge glory written all over it.
Somebody buy this thing and come party with us at the challenge this year =)

I don't remember where you are, but probably too far from my version of L. A.
(technically I'm just on the Alabam' side of the panhandle, but I just like the name.
Otherwise, give him a lower offer, for challenge promise, of course, we'll get it to my (albeit messy) shop, and it can be there!
I know a bit about them, am a decent car troubleshooting tech an an excellent wrench puller. Decent fabricator, but do NOT know chassis geometry and math like the good ones on here. Better than average machinist.
I lack money, and I can't self motivate. But the right cause, well...
Anyone want to be the dollar side of a team?

That's a pretty great offer but we're about a thousand miles too far apart!
I was thinking so, but then ya gotta pass my house on way to Gainesville
This is exactly the sort of car I would buy, never get working, and let rot on my lawn.
Someone save this car. Don't be like me.
But if someone wants to play with a BMW powered Metropolitan so I have a hole in my garage for a T-Bird .......
