I'm not a fan of the Webesto top either, but for what I'd want the car for (rallycross abuse), welding or bonding in a filler panel doesn't concern me.

Very rare car.  They stopped making 7s in October 1981.  Must have sat on the dealers lot a long time.

I seriously doubt that's a 1987 as listed.  It looks exactly like my '76.  The early cars had the black cloth seats like this one. By the late '70's up to '81 they had that funky plaid patternef seats.
