V50 T5 turbo wagon

 Torrington, Connecticut

Last week I had a front suspension failure on my 05 V50 wagon.

It's a T5 6-speed wagon with abo 150k miles

There is no body damage, but the repair to the lower control arm, strut and tire will be more expensive than I want to do for this old a vehicle

If anyone is interested in the car or any parts, let me know right away.

The car is in Mamaronek NY near NYC, and I'd love for the car or parts to live on with an enthusiast.

The shop that has the car has been great to me, but will start charging me storage Friday (Nov 1)

If I can sell by Monday ,(Nov 4) I can pay off shop for all their help, otherwise car goes to salvage yard. Minimum is $1000 by Monday.

Email me at
ignition at NetZero dot net
or better, call or text:
One 2zero3 six 8 five 75 eight two

The car needs to be moved by Monday, so let me know right away

Hopefully someone can grab this - they're interesting cars, fairly practical, and the manual box is a nice and scarce option. I'm semi-local, but I already have a V50 T5, along with too many other cars that want attention, so there's no way I can add this to the stable right now. GLWS.

This is awesome but 650 miles away is just too far for me. Good luck !!

I'd go for it too if it wasn't 8 hours away and not just 8 hrs but 8 hrs into the belly of the beast, east of NYC.

But for anyone else wondering, is this just fwd (not AWD) and therefore a tow dolly will suffice?

Adrian has one of these, and it's really nice. Quick, practical, and it has some of best seats I've ever sat in.

In reply to John Welsh :

FWD, could be towed easily with  a dolly!

Well I've been wanting a wagon. Let me ponder some and I might shoot you an email.

It's not AWD?

(AWD can be towed indefinitely on a dolly per Volvo)

If it was an auto I'd be interested.  That's a $10k car if you can find one for sale.
