I'm just lucky... I owned a boat and only ever spent about $550 on it and got some good use out of it, so cheaper than rental fees would have been.
Talked to a girl before French Class in college freshman year, we have been leapfrogging each other in salary and she paid for an entire trip to go see an F1 race as a surprise gift for me the other year, so I'll mark that as a win.
