A cheap one.....    That's free + your cost.  =~ )       Price drop to $350.  I think it's cool or could be, the canoe body would move through water well for a 33 footer.

I thought for sure the answer would be "two free boats"

A boat someone pays you to take AND then you "think" you can fix it. Years ago, my dive buddy and I bought a 16' Zodiac with a 40hp electric start Merc OB for 700 bucks. About two months into the repair process we decided it was a bad deal even if they had paid us to take away. Sure looked good before we started on the "restoration".

3 months and a coupla Steves later, it was a great dive platform we got many years out of. At the time we could've gotten a 5 year newer boat without all the issues for about 5 Steves. Our hourly worked out to about 10/hour. The two of us probably had 300 man-hours in it. The folly of youth and holes in the water...

It's like those free houses?  House is free and needs to be moved at a $200,000 cost.

Cheap housing for the homeless. Just park it on a small lot someplace.

My immediate thought was two free boats as well.

When I first moved to Manhattan (East Village 11th st b/w Ave A &B) in the mid-late 1990's there was a guy who lived in a boat on a fenced in vacant lot.

He had lots of chickens that would get into the back of my building where I locked up my bike. and I'd have to catch them and throw them over the fence back into his yard/lot

Those were some weird times
