This one is tempting for me. As a young kid I wanted to either be a Ghostbuster or Magnum P.I. While not like the original Ecto-1, it still seems fun.

Crazy timing, as I saw a PT Cruiser-based Ecto-1 on my way home from dropping off my kid this morning.
I didn't hate it.
In reply to Colin Wood :
I have seen an ECTO-1 PT Cruiser as well. Same one? And somewhere there has to be a whole subset of ECTO-1 recreations using non-canon chassis.
In reply to David S. Wallens :
I searched to see if anyone has made a Fit-based Ecto-1.
This thread is pretty much the only relevant result, and no idea if the author ever followed through, but the designs look promising to me:
I have a headcannon that sees the Ghostbusters franchising, and there can't be that many 59 Miller meteors out there. Use what you got?
Just googled ECTO-1 Miata and, of course, it exists.
In reply to Colin Wood :
The fit is probably a less appealing version of the replica, but in 5 speed form, I'd be more likely to buy it.
Didn’t take photos (because I’m an idiot) but we visited our local comic book shop during the recent Comic Book Day, and the place was full of Ghostbusters.
