In-laws are getting rid of their car that I think needs some basic upkeep. I asked what they wanted for it, they said 500, but I assume it's negotiable. It has some rust, needs a new battery, they did not keep it clean whatsoever inside or out. But it runs and drives.
500 and it runs and drives? Wow!
Any pics or? Got a couple friends in need of extreme budget transportation
Yeah, I guess it really is an amazing deal. I've thought about flipping it, myself, but I just don't have the motivation right now. Low end they're going for like $2k. But in lieu of that it would be good to get it to someone in need, given the deal.
Lansing area.
Ill get pics and miles, etc. Clean title, one owner, even.
i Think it's under 200k, I4, small exhaust leak at manifold, rear tire apparently has a slow leak, battery probably bad from sitting. Not saying there's nothing else wrong with it, but I think my BIL gets a little fatalistic about car issues; from what I remember of it I'd drive it except it offers no capabilities I don't already have
Here are some pics. Better tires are from 2018. For some reason they're on the back. Fronts are bald. A couple of us swapped the trans in 2019 for another used one. Glass and lights are all good. From what I have gathered the rust isn't fatal
These are my pics and I didn't bother to brush off the snow because I didn't :)
I think it's more than fairly priced but knowing what happened to my buddy's rear strut mounts when his quarters started looking like that tells me to leave it for someone else.
