Maybe an MG-inspired cowl, but who knows what the rest of it is but for $400 it may be worth the gamble. https://reno.craigslist.org/pts/d/reno-vintage-car-project/7208891386.html

Is that a through-dash torsion bar front suspension... thing?
or maybe the front brake actuation bar?

Do you even understand how badass my 200" inline6 would look in that thing???!?!
Ok I emailed them. Any local GRMers that can facilitate the transaction? I'd most likely put it in storage until I can get it either shipped or me go get it.
Looks like a 2 seat circle track midget. Needs small Offy or V8-60 for power, but a pushrod Volvo would fit, maybe a Falcon 6 with a good cylinder head.

What it really needs is the 2.4 Jaguar. DOHC 6 cylinders short stroke, short block
Reminds me of some of the one-off custom built sports customs of the late '50s, with a little bit of LSR thrown in.
I know what I would be taking inspiration from if I couldn't figure out its original provenance.
most days I would buy this ,
but it would just sit and I must work on my other projects,
Since its so narrow I wonder if it was an early Anglia or Austin ,
front suspension looks like my 46 Mercury only smaller,
Slapping my hand.........

I'm showing two GRMers on the road assist map in carson city about 30 to 40 miles away. If that is an inappropriate use of the road assist map please delete this post.
