This is the only factory-built TVR Cerbera Speed 12 intended for road use. It’s considered “one of the rarest and most revered supercars of the last 25 years,” says the seller, and with good reason.
The car itself weighs 2425 pounds and comes fitted with a 7.7-liter V12 rated for more than 800 horsepower. Add in the carbon-fiber/Kevlar bodywork plus a flat floor, and you got one heck of a car.
It was so powerful that TVR boss Peter Wheeler canceled the Cerbera Speed 12 project for road use after he took a finished prototype home one evening. He said it was “too powerful” and “too wild” for street use. Prototypes were parted out for the company’s race cars, with the exception of this example.
The TVR Cerbera Speed 12 was widely featured in the automotive media and even made it into Gran Turismo. If you wish to turn your dreams of owning one into a reality, this is your only opportunity.
