A modern twist on the Porsche 935. And only 77 in existence?

This Porsche, a tribute to the famed “Moby Dick” racer of the ’70s, only sports delivery miles from its two owners. It also wins best dressed in a heritage Sachs livery wrap.

The icing on the cake? Porsche books and accessories–worth more than $44,000 when new–accompany the car. A spare parts package includes BBS wheels, Recaro race seat, Schroth harness, carbon fiber front splitter and Brembo brakes.

Extras include scale models of the new 935 plus a limited-edition Porsche Design titanium watch.

If you want to become Captain Ahab and nab this white whale, the 2019 Porsche 935 will be presented Saturday, August 17 in Monterey by RM Sotheby’s. The estimate is $1,600,000 to $1,800,000.
