Bluegrass 1000 tour

Having been bitten by the extended tour / rallye bug following our participation in the last two years of the Carolina Trophy, we are looking for something new to do this driving season. I have seen old advertisements for the Bluegrass 1000 but little follow up information. Did anyone on this forum take part last year? If so, I would enjoy hearing your opinion of the event.

I have yet to contact the organizer, but is there any news out there about this year's event? At this time, their web site still has no new information.

And finally, what other multi day events in the east have readers participated in that they would recommend?

We went and wrote something about it. Super nice people, super driving roads and pretty scenery. They had a few organization problems that I went over with them step by step last year and they tell me they have them all ironed out. The price was reasonable too. Do it!

Last year was the first year for the event. I do not know the details this year. I think there is a different organizer this year because of health issues of the gentleman that organized it last year.
