Oddball cars do pop up. A friend owned a first gen BMW 7 series from the 1970s. When he needed a clutch for it, they told him it was never imported to North America as anything but an automatic - they had to special order a clutch from the Fatherland.

Seeing that 5er behind it reminds me that I will never forgive BMW for not offering any greens in the US in the 80's. I want a Malachite Green 5er so bad I can taste it, but my project is white too.
