Guys and gals,

We would like to hear from those of you who were at our event this weekend. What did you think? What would you do differently? What would you like to see added or subtracted for next year, etc? Thanks

Have seen Mitty upon Mitty that features English or Italian cars and have even helped organize the participation of a car club (Alfa) of this type over the years. How about a Mitty that features Eastern European or "Specials" cars? Are there enough of these type of cars to warrant featuring them?

Seems that since GRM/CMS has gotten involved it hasn't rained as much so that's good. And there is more "buzz" in general about the event.

Tim, the slideshow Saturday night of old race pictures at the GRM tent was a nice touch.

Liked the bands, both in the GRM tent and at the dinner.

Hey Mike -

How'd the Triumph feature race go for ya. I heard our local boy Tony Garmey piloting the 250K ran away from everyone....He drives the tires off everything here in the PNW.

The Triumph race was the best one I had seen. We had a huge amount of entrants and Randy Williams turned 1.49s in his TR3 and won the Kastner Cup and finished third overall.

I wasn't there, but a few Spitfire club guys from MD made the trip down. I'll post this on the yahoo group and ask them to either e-mail you directly or I'll post responses here.

I hate to admit it but you just presented a picture of a car I've not heard of. I went to the Classic Motorsports listing of cars and they don't list it either. What the heck is a Maxton? Even the spell checker doesn't recognize the name.

Yes the Maxton Owners get that all the time. Check out the owners website or even the the April 2011 Issue of Grassroots Motorsports Tim's folks were very nice and John Webber wrote a great storie about the car.

Interesting article on the Maxton. Perhaps you or someone at Classic could provide a link to it from your membership information site.

I don't know much anything the Maxton body but I'm sure it has a great drive train.

The only thing wrong with it I'm sure is that I didn't get to go this year.
